Jean Charles Counet NSC is a renowned cinematographer, photographer, and director based in Amsterdam. As a member of the Netherlands Society of Cinematographers, he works on documentaries, feature films, and cross-media projects worldwide.

In documentary filmmaking, he explores the boundaries of contemporary cinematography, while in fiction, he strives for authenticity in every moment.
His work is influenced by filmmakers such as Christopher Doyle, Krzysztof Kieślowski, and Andrei Tarkovsky, and photographers like Saul Leiter and Harry Gruyaert. These inspirations contribute to Counet's work as a cinematographer, photographer, and director.
With over two decades of experience, Counet has worked on over 100 high-quality documentaries and feature films. His "less is more" philosophy allows him to focus on the essence of each scene, turning fleeting moments into lasting impressions.
